Warrington Animal Welfare (WAW) was established in 1983 to promote responsible pet ownership and neutering. It offers low cost neutering for pet owners on low income or benefits in a bid to reduce the amount of stray, abandoned and unwanted pets in Warrington and the surrounding areas.
WAW opened its first rescue centre in 2013 and mainly rehomes cats, kittens, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
WAW is also involved in numerous community campaigns related to feral cats and responsible pet ownership.
The charity is solely funded by kind donations and fundraising.
